Google Will No Longer Stay As We Know It

New Operating Structure implemented by Google

Google Inc. revealed that shares for Google Class C Capital Stock and Google Class A Capital Stock will be start to be traded as Alphabet Class C Capital Stock and Alphabet Class A Capital Stock respectively on the NASDAQ Global Select Market on 5 October 2015. However, what did not change is the ticker symbols, they will be GOOG, and GOOGL respectively. Both the shares GOOG and GOOGL have seen an increase in the share price from yesterday.

This news comes in continuation to the news that company announced to create a new public holding company, Alphabet Inc. Google also had a logo revamp under the new leadership of Sundar Pichai, who is the new CEO of Google.  The whole idea is to let Google cofounder and CEO Larry Page from running the daily business such that he can brainstorm on the Alphabet business.

Google has been undergoing a lot of changes, including planning to divide the robotics projects into a sub division of Alphabet.
