Facebook Announces News Tools for Managing Communication on Pages

Facebook launches better tools for Page Management

 

Facebook recently has introduced new tools for the communication of your Facebook page. Currently, there are over 50 million active business pages and a lot of them use their Page to communicate with their customers. Almost 2.5 comments are left on Pages every month. The new features will make it easier to manage both the public and private interactions their customers and fans are doing with their page.

Previously they announced the feature of “very responsive to messages” indicator only to pages where a response rate of within 5 minutes was received for 90% of the messages. Starting this month, all pages can set the average time it takes them to reply to the messages. The options admins can choose from include “within minutes,” “within an hour,” “within hours” or “within a day.” Though the time will also be calculated automatically for the page, but admins will be allowed to set the response time.

People will also see the page response time in the messenger threads when they message a business such that they become aware of how long will they have to wait to hear back from the admins. In addition to this, admins can set their messaging status as “away” or send away messages and instant replies.

On the post, it was mentioned “Redesigned inbox tells businesses more about their customers to better serve them and An easier way to respond to and keep track of comments”

The admins will also be able to see the public information on profiles of people who contact them and allowing the admins to make notes about the person, including the preferences of the customer or any information they believe would help them improve the customers’ experience. Comments can also be flagged with interactions, mark them as done to let the admins track the comments better. The features will be available globally to all the Pages in the coming months.
